Three just isn't enough!

18x24 - ($35.00)

After painting three canvases for our dining room, I just had to do another one. As I sit here typing this I am wishing that I had a blank canvas here to paint. It is just that fun!

I was super excited about the way this one turned out :)

Abstract!

Let me be the first to say that I am by no means an artist of any sort. I can barely paint my fingernails without making a mess. However, I must say that I am very proud of the way my canvas paintings turned out. We needed something bright, but not over the top, in our dining room. This was my first attempt to "paint" a canvas. Could not look better in our dining room :)

WOW! Such a sight!

($85.00)

I am sooooo (may I stress sooooo) proud of this table. I purchased it from a lady off of Craigslist. Granted I paid way to much for it, but, it was just to unique to pass up. She and I tried to figure out "what it was" other than a table of some sort. The measurements are a little weird. The table only stands 14.5" tall and is a HUGH five foot long. The depth, only 20 inches.

I have used it as a coffee table and as an "end of bed" table. It fit perfectly up to a queen and king size bed. A great place for sitting and also for placing throw pillows when laying down (rather than tossing them on the floor, like I do :) It could also be used as a television stand.

The color was originally gray. yes, plain old gray. I just added insult to it when I painted it white :( Well, I couldn't take it any longer and had to spice it up, so RED it became. I also used red so that I WOULD HAVE to sell it. Nothing in my home is red so I have no desire to "hold on to it".

This piece could not have turned out more perfect! :)

Dresser to match!

Drag to FAB!

Once used in our children's room, this poor poor dresser, was nearing its end. UNTIL... I decided no more! LOL! I used the same method (mod podge) and the same (+ another pattern) pattern scrapbook paper I used on the night stands.

Finally, this dresser can be used and admired. :)

End Tables

These tables are used on our bed side. We purchased them many years ago and they went great with our furniture.....until, I painted our room black, white and YELLOW! Yup, yellow. Let me be the first to say that there is no "making do" with natural wood and black/yellow. LOL!

So, I made my way to Michaels Craft sotre and found the perfect scrapbook paper. I already had my black paint and mod podge :) After a little elbow grease and $10.00 I had the perfect end result!

Hutch

(Not for sale)

This hutch was passed down to me by my late mother. The hutch was very old and had a lot of wear and tear. Although the piece itself was in great condition there were a lot of "bad spots" and some fading from the sun. So, I grabed my paint brush in hopes to bring it back to life and did just that :)
